ALEKSANDRA WOZNIAK
Making Canadian Tennis History

WELCOME
I want to welcome you on my new website and I am looking forward connecting with everyone of you!!
BIOGRAPHY
Career-High Ranking: No. 21
Former WTA, I am often referred to as the “pioneer” of Quebec tennis. In 2008, I became the first French Canadian to win a WTA singles title, at Stanford's West Bank Classic. That week, I had earned eight wins in a row, including victories against Samantha Stosur, Francesca Schiavone, Serena Williams and Marion Bartoli. I then became the first Canadian tennis player in history to take part in the Olympics, in London in 2012. That same year, I reached the Montreal Coupe Rogers' quarterfinals – something that hadn't been done by a Canadian player in more than twenty years.
